GetDL doesn't require an account, so we don't collect names, email addresses, or passwords. When you use the download tool, the link you paste is sent to our server to be processed and is not stored after your file is returned. We may collect basic, non-identifying technical data, such as browser type and country-level location, for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
Technical data is used only to keep the service running reliably and to detect abuse, such as automated scraping or excessive requests from a single source. We do not sell data, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Third-party content
GetDL fetches publicly available media from the platform you link to (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, Threads). We are not affiliated with these platforms, and your use of content you download remains subject to that platform's own terms and applicable copyright law.
Cookies
We use a minimal, functional cookie or local storage entry to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode) and language. We don't use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
